confessions of a calendar-holic

This is one of my favorite times of years, besides for the holiday tunes, glimmering lights, and of course the eggnog, it’s the time of year when I load up on calendars for the next year. Not only do I love them for my house, my office, and about anywhere else I can find a place for them (I know it’s a little obsessive at times), I absolutely love them for hostess gifts, co-worker gifts, and stocking stuffers! I don’t care that we are in the age of technology – I still love an old fashioned calendar, and the shop is stocked with them!

Check out these awesome designs from some of our favorite designers. How are you going to keep track of those important dates in 2012?

papaya desk calendars are printed on heavy quality paper and feature signature artwork and fine glitter embellishments on each calendar page. easel-style desktop calendars are 6 x 6.5 in. and stand on sturdy aqua blue triangle stands. perfect for every home, office, kitchen, or work station

papaya wall calendars are printed on heavy quality paper and feature signature artwork and fine glitter embellishments on every calendar page. wall calendars are 6.75 x 12.75 in., include an extra year-at-a-glance page and are mounted on sturdy spiral hangers

papaya day planners! designs with gold foil accents and convenient elastic closure. interior planner pages feature weekly planner format, and fifty-two new coordinating weekly plan pages. interior elements include a six pocket accordion storage folder, slide-out spiral planner, elastic band closure, and extra pages for personal notes

DIY – Burlap Fall Wreath

We have a great fall wreath project for you! It’s super easy (even the kids can do it) and looks great!

To start, go to your local craft supply store and buy a metal wreath frame and the fabric of your choice. Both materials are relatively inexpensive. I used burlap and feed sack fabric that I had leftover from other curtain & pillow projects. The amount of fabric you need varies depending on what size frame you find; about 1-2 yards.

Cut the fabric into strips. They don’t have to be perfectly straight and they can be any length & width you choose. I cut my strips about an inch wide and a foot long.

Next, tie the strips of fabric to the frame. Once the frame is completely covered, you’re finished and it’s ready to hang! Super easy, right?!
